Support and Training Services for Agencies and School Systems

Second Start provides three different levels of services:

1. Professional Consultation with specific help for a class or student.
The Consultant will visit and work with the requesting organization for the benefit of a specific student or class. This includes a written dialogistic by the consultant with specific recommendations and implementation techniques.

2. “Our Site” training at Pine Hill School
This is a 14 day (9 to 2pm) training for School / Organization staff.
It provides classroom experience as well as specific personal guidance in student and classroom management for an optimum supportive environment for learning.

3. The Newton Program A Social-Cognitive Learning Environment
An agency or a School System may acquire the rights to apply Second Start’s profoundly successful method of The Newton Program (proprietary) within their classrooms. Included in the acquisition:

• 20 days (9am to 2pm) training on Pine Hill School Site
• Training Materials in Best Practices and Methods
• Program Parameters and Description
• Year Long classroom support, analysis and recommendations
• Inservice training in: Behavior Management, Classroom Set-Up, Establishing a social-cognitive learning environment
